Upcoming Election Dates

February 28, 2012 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION

January 30, 2012 is the last day to register for the Presidential Primary Election.  The registration form can be found on the State website www.michigan.gov/sos or on the County website. That form is filed at the County Clerk's office or your Township/City Clerk's office.

When you appear at the polls to vote, you will need to either request a Republican Party Ballot or a Democratic Party Ballot.

August 7, 2012 PRIMARY ELECTION    

July 9, 2012 is the last day to register for the Primary Election.  The registration form can be found on the State website www.michigan.gov/sos  or on the County website.  That form is filed at the County Clerk's office or your Township/City Clerk's office.   May 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. is the deadline to file partisan and nonpartisan candidate nominating petitions.  Anyone who wishes to file for a Township or County office, may obtain the paperwork at the County Clerk's Office, 225 West Main St.
