University Center at Gaylord

The University Center at Gaylord provides higher education in the form of Academic and Career Technical Training, Professional Development and Lifelong Learning.

Its mission is to facilitate the delivery of quality, state-of-the-art education and training that is responsive to personal growth and business needs throughout Otsego County and northern Michigan through a consortium of colleges/universities and professional service organizations offering degrees, enrichment and skill certification programs. These entities are referred to as "partners".

Students may obtain certifications, college credits, Dual Enrollment, Associate, Bachelors and Masters Degrees in a variety of fields. Individuals and businesses may also complete non-credit course work, obtain professional development or pursue lifelong learning at the Center.

The University Center at Gaylord is also the managing partner for the community owned Metropolitan Area Network. The UC MAN is comprised of several key features including shared infrastructure, staffing, hardware, connectivity and wireless Internet (WiFi) "Hotspots. The UC MAN has been developed to position our community to be at the forefront of technology.
