Arrow Sanitation/American Waste
Item(s): Paper/Cardboard: All accepted together: Corrugated Cardboard; boxboard/greyboard (cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, etc.); brown paper bags; office paper; magazines; paper-back books; catalogs; aseptic cartons and packaging (items must be flattened and clean)
Metal: tin cans and aluminum foil wrap, pans, trays, pop and juice cans, empty aerosol cans. Not accepted: paint cans.
Plastics: All plastic food and beverage containers (#'s 1-7), plastic grocery bags, bread bags, produce bags, dry cleaning bags, outer wrapping for toilet paper & paper towels, marine shrink wrap, visqueen, garden plastics, cling wrap, storage bags and other similar plastic film items. All plastics and containers must be placed in 33-gallon recycling bags and may be purchased at the Arrow Sanitation yard for $3.50 each. Not accepted: Oil containers such as vegetable oil or olive oil.
Glass: All colors of glass bottles and jars. Recyclable Glass must be placed in 33-gallon recycling bags and may be purchased at the Arrow Sanitation yard for $3.50 each.
Wood: Wood which has not been painted on or treated.
A small fee may apply for large quantities of wood.
